Videos and singlesPosted by Hallowed nyheter 2018-05-13 20:47 UK metal band, ENTERFIRE, have released a new lyric video / single for 'Upon Humanity'. The track is taken from the forthcoming debut album 'Slave Of Time', which will see the light in October. 'Upon Humanity' is a powerful metal song that talk about how disruptive is the world we live in.
To celebrate the release of St. Leonards, Melbourne’s Slowly Slowly have unveiled their next single “Ten Leaf Clover”.
Following on from their hit “Alchemy”, "Ten Leaf Clover” is Slowly Slowly narrating the search for happiness, where seeking something wholesome in the most unwholesome place and staying optimistic is a hard task to bear.
“This song is about searching for true connection in an age where it seems so hard to find. It’s a modern-day love story — Romeo & Juliet, but with the internet,” explains frontman Ben Stewart. “It was initially inspired by my friend Anna Jay’s voice, I heard her sing and could hear this little duet brewing in my head. I threw a bunch of experiences of my own and of my closest friends into a mixing pot to try and detail the difficulties of remaining honest and hopeful in what can be a pretty demoralising quest.
I came up with the video concept while running and listening to the song, I had my arms out wide kind of moving them like I was a kid pretending to be a plane and I was like, ‘rollerskates. Yes. Rollerskates.’. We reached out to Nicole Slovak to be in the clip after seeing some of her amazing performances - she had this sense of grace and sadness, a considered confidence that was really captivating. It all came together way too easily.”
Videos and singlesPosted by Hallowed nyheter 2018-05-13 20:42 Northlane have released their brand new video for "Heartmachine". Lifted from their recent album 'Mesmer', "Heartmachine" is the final video in the 'Mesmer' collection, and its existence was alluded to in the album trailer that was released right before the surprise album drop.
A deeply personal song about the human condition, "Heartmachine" was directed by Jason Eshraghian and it premiered on Apple Music this week.
Frontman Marcus Bridge explains: "Heartmachine is a song about pain, heartbreak and loss. When the heart wants to heal and move forward, anxiety and depression work like a machine to drag you down again and again. I wrote this song in the studio after feeling low for months about a relationship that had fallen apart on top of other personal issues. I almost immediately felt a weight lifted off my chest when I started to release that pain through this song. As I let go of my heartbreak, represented through my relationship with the female character in the music video, my strength grows and I'm finally able to control my power at the end of it all",

UK five-piece anthemic rock act Massive Wagons are thrilled to announce they signed a worldwide record deal with Earache Records (The Temperance Movement, Blackberry Smoke, Rival Sons). The deal comes off the back of the band’s growing reputation as one of the brightest new UK rock talents. Frontman Baz Mills comments: “Signing to Earache for us has been the absolute making of this band. We like to think we were operators beforehand, but since the signing we've really ramped up every aspect of what we do: including stage shows and song writing. A massive thing for us is being added to the Download 2018 line-up, that's something we've been striving towards since day 1, plus we have a summer jammed with festival slots: Steelhouse, Rock and Blues Custom Show, Wildfire to name a few. Busy times, good times, can't wait to get stuck into it with Earache and see how far we can take this.”

Commenting on the new single and video, Homesafe vocalist and bassist for celebrated pop-punk band Knuckle Puck, Ryan Rumchaks says “”Run” is a song about overcoming self-doubt - wanting to run away from problems life can throw at you. “Do you ever feel like you’re the one who never takes the jump but always takes the fall?” is the line of the song that pretty much sums it all up. The video for Run shows the walls closing in on the band and us pushing against them, all while someone tries to reach us before it’s too late. It was a really good time to shoot”.
