MICHAEL KISKE AND KAI HANSEN TOGETHER AGAIN! UNISONIC ANNOUNCES RECORD LABEL
UNISONIC – the new metal super group featuring Michael Kiske (vocals, ex- Helloween), Kai Hansen (guitars, Gamma Ray, ex Helloween), Mandy Meyer (guitars, ex-Gotthard, ex-Krokus), Dennis Ward (bass, Pink Cream 69) and Kosta Zafiriou (drums, Pink Cream 69) has signed a record contract with earMUSIC / Edel.
Drummer Kosta Zafiriou: "We had several promising labels being interested in UNISONIC, but the enthusiasm of Max Vaccaro and his team convinced us that earMUSIC is the right company for us."
A first EP will be released in January 2012 (the band is collecting material that would make the day, for the most devoted fans...), followed by the band’s debut album, which is planned for February.
After the addition of Gamma Ray ́s Kai Hansen to the group’s line-up early 2011, the band continued and implemented the songwriting process, assembling Kai ́s talent to write great anthemic rock songs in existing and new material.
The recordings for the album started at end of September at ICP studios in Brussels/Belgium. Unisonic ́s music is very versatile and shows a broad approach to heavy rock, but never misses the power and strong, sticking melodies that made all the members famous in the metal scene in the first place.
Says singer Michael Kiske: “It feels great to finally bring the band to the studio and record the songs we ́ve been working on. We took our time to grow as a band, but it was definitely worth it and we are very proud of the result.”
Bassist/producer Dennis Ward: “We have a bunch of very strong songs and can ́t wait until people can hear them. Everyone in the band is now looking even more positive into the future.”

CHICKENFOOT, the highly acclaimed US supergroup of Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony (both ex-Van Halen), guitar hero Joe Satriani and Chad Smith, are set to celebrate this week's release of their eagerly anticipated album "Chickenfoot III" with a very special concert performance to be streamed tonight, Wednesday, September 28th, at 9 pm CET via www.chickenfoot.us. People across the globe can watch the full show in an intimate, never seen before setting in this special re-run, particularly dedicated to the band's enormous European fan base.
The band just released the album "Chickenfoot III" this week and is heading on a short and very rare run of US tour dates next week. The concert stream is a very special opportunity to see the 4piece jamming on the new tracks and also holding a short Q+A with attending fans thereupon. This will also be the live debut for drummer Kerry Aronoff (who had played with basically any superstar, ranging from Elton John to Bob Seger to Jon Bon Jovi or the Smashing Pumpkins), who will be filling in for Chad Smith, who has other touring obligations.
Chickenfoot III, produced by Mike Fraser and featuring a 3D package, also features the leadsingle “Big Foot”, which debuted at #1 on the US Mediabase Classic Rock Chart holding the position for three weeks and earning over 1.5 million listeners. In addition to the initial performance at radio, “Big Foot” was garnering additional media buzz on Rolling Stone’s Hot List in the September 1st issue:
“Get on the good foot! The world’s most random supergroup returns with dinosaur rock so lumberingly powerful that an actual T.rex would flee from its Satriani-ified riffery.”

Berlin: Renowned European Hard Rock Magazine Metal Hammer held their highly anticipated Annual Award Show during the weeklong celebrations within the Berlin Music Week. ACCEPT travelled in all the way from the USA to receive the coveted award for “Best Metal Anthem” for the song “Teutonic Terror”. This admired track comes off the band’s most successful album to date - the fan-favorite and critically acclaimed Blood Of the Nations. The album was praised more than 50 times as “Album of the Year” or “Album of the Month” by most leading international media outlets.
ACCEPT express tremendous appreciation and thank all of their many fans and the international press for the unbelievable support they received since they announced their return to the metal stage. All this fantastic support has profoundly contributed to the awesome success of the album and the recently completed sold-out world tour.

The first four songs are not part of a concept, still mantaining a common fil rouge. The fifth is instead a long suite in six parts (average duration: 5 minutes), with an instrumental overture as intro.
Heart of the World is a remixed and rearranged acoustic version of a song in the EP "Last Day Of The Earth"; Indifference will be featuring of Olaf Thorsen (Labyrinth, Vision Divine) special guitar solo.
